Conduct research and lead research collaborations that yield new insights, theories, analyses, data, algorithms, and/or prototypes that advance the state-of-the-art of computer science and engineering, as well as general scientific knowledge.
This opportunity will allow you to formulate research problems in an area of study and initiates the design, development, execution, and implementation of a research agenda to further academic knowledge and close identified gaps.
You will provide expertise to product or business groups and may create long-term business opportunities through research outcomes but not responsible for addressing immediate product needs or demonstrating a clear path to product.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (complete or in progress) in relevant field AND 3+ months related research internship experience
OR Master’s Degree in relevant field
OR equivalent experience.

The base pay range for this internship is USD $5,460 – $10,680 per month

Account Executive: Internship Opportunities – South Africa
Job Responsibilities:
An Account Executive Develops and oversees the execution of account plans for multiple accounts and works to ensure engagements yield high volume sales for both Microsoft and the customer that are on track with goals, budgets, and forecasts.
Understands customer drivers of digital transformation and leverages understanding to engage internal teams to accelerate the customer’s digital transformation and strategy.
Cultivates relationships and uses Microsoft sales strategies throughout multiple levels of the customer’s organization to establish strong alignment on long-term goals and secure buy in and execution.
Leverages knowledge of and experience with Microsoft’s product landscape, solutions, and strategy to address customers’ needs.
You seek feedback from customers to understand the drivers of satisfaction and establish action plans to improve their overall experience.
You orchestrate extended virtual teams and key stakeholders to engage decision makers of assigned accounts.
You share and recommend Microsoft solutions to customers, and develop value-proposition presentations and specialized business plans for customers that drive business outcomes to generate business and upsells.
You develop strategies to secure buy-in and execution of plans and aim to identify new opportunities within assigned accounts.
You coordinate with internal industry experts to gather industry data of assigned accounts and improve planning.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in the last 6 months in Information Technology, Sales, Marketing, Computer Science, Business Operations, Business Administration or related field.
Strong desire and business acumen for consultative solution selling.
Exceptional negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills.
You must be legally authorised to work in South Africa to be eligible for this role. (Legally
authorised = has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit).
