Analyst – Hotels & Hospitality – Singapore
we are seeking an Analyst to support the CBRE Hotels team. This will include conducting and documenting moderate to complex hotel financial analysis, as well as researching and writing business development and property marketing documents.
Job Responsibilities:
To conduct real estate analysis on a broad spectrum of hotel assets and markets, including all industry segments throughout Asia.
To gather and analyse data and interpret it in the context of the project (e.g. reconcile hotel financial statements, prepare income summary statements, and benchmark property financial performance against proprietary databases and/or field research).
Assist with monthly operational and financial review of our managed properties.
Conduct ongoing background research for property performance, market analysis, demographic or travel trends, and supply and demand factors.
Assist in preparing appropriate financial projections for review using both the proprietary models and/or excel spreadsheets.
Qualification:
Requires strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret complex financial information and transactions.
Knowledge of hotel financial statements, as well as real estate valuation terms and concepts, strongly preferred.
Proven academic track record with strong performance in analytical and financial course.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
Ability to effectively present information in written and verbal form to clients, both internal and external.
Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
