Technology Integration Engineer – Canada
Job Description:
Build and maintain web, virtual, and client server environments for an enterprise environment. Maintain all virtual, web, and client and server systems to ensure availability.
Handle customer concerns related to any IT service issues of systems and servers, and partner with the other infrastructure teams to fix and resolve related issues.
Use optimization techniques to maximize the efficiency of all computer systems.
Build and implement software standards for operating systems, servers and virtualized infrastructures
Collaborate with third-party vendors and consultants on developing system-specific skills and evaluate new technologies to meet business needs or to tackle business problems
You will devise and ensure implethe mentation of system policies
You will perform server performance and capacity management in order to maintain the sizing requirements for customer’s.
Qualification:
B.A./B.Sc. In Computer Science / Electronics / IT
1-3 years of proven track record
Experience in the use of management, reporting and automation tools
UNIX Administration – 1-3 yrs. of experience administering at least one Unix platform (LINUX, HP-UX)
1-3 with VMware virtualization technologies.
1-3 in hardware administration (Physical servers, Enclosures)
Windows Administration: Sound Knowledge of administering Windows Server Operating systems
