Microsoft AI Development Acceleration Program – United States
Must be available to begin full time employment starting July 2024.
Job Responsibilities:
Research, develop, and implement AI solutions in application projects for Microsoft’s products and services.
Select and apply appropriate statistical and machine learning techniques to large-scale, high-dimensional data.
Stay current with the latest research and technology and communicate your knowledge throughout the organization.
Take responsibility for preparing data for analysis, review data preparation/ETL code and provide critical feedback on issues of data integrity.
Share knowledge by clearly articulating results and ideas to customers, managers, and key decision makers.
Up to 10% travel may be required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND relevant internship experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)
OR Master’s Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field
This program has a single start date in July 2024. Must be available to begin full time employment starting July 2024

Silicon Engineering: Internship Opportunities – USA
Job Responsibilities:
· Contribute to and improve the hardware solutions we develop
· Uses performance instrumentation and presents results to team and architects
· Think strategically, creatively, and innovate ways to communicate and visualize user experiences.
· Implements or recommends technical solutions to common quality and design challenges, with guidance from others (including but not limited to logic design, verification, circuit design, physical design, and design for test)
· Uses standard practices to write complete design verification test cases, test benches, or automation
· Assists in writing tests for formal pre-silicon verification of subsystems within a single block; includes the use of simulation and emulation tools, as well as tests for signal integrity, to prevent bugs/failures before production
Qualifications:
o Pursuing a Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
o Have at least one additional quarter/semester of school remaining following the completion of the internship.
o Research experience or coursework in computer architecture.
Preferred:
3 months – 1 year experience of a subset of classes or experience in the following areas:
Digital Logic Design and Simulation
Object Oriented Programming and Data Structures
Embedded Systems and Firmware
Knowledge of verification principles, testbenches, UVM
Knowledge of C/C++ and scripting languages
Experience with digital timing analysis, synthesis, place-n-route

Hardware Engineer: Opportunities for University Graduates
Job Responsibilities:
Assists in the creation of robust, scalable, secure, and extensible designs and/or verification plans for the hardware engineering aspects of well-defined products or features.
Conduct automated testing on standard products and participate in testing dashboard creation. You’ll identify common feature flaws using data analysis and validate features by helping build prototypes.
Follow a project schedule as you deliver the hardware engineering aspects of a feature or product. You’ll also choose appropriate parts and evaluate the essential details of materials used in production.
Documents essential details about materials, components, and/or assemblies for a device via accepted release processes. Accurately records and tracks changes to designs following established processes with some guidance from other engineers.
Strategically and creatively innovate ways to communicate and visualize user experiences.
Analyze hardware and firmware designs.
Exhibit debugging skills and drive to develop innovative hardware.
Qualifications:
Pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
1+ years of technical engineering experience.
Preferred:
5+ years of technical engineering experience
OR Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years of technical engineering experience
