Systems Engineering Intern – 12 Month Internship 2024 -UK, Europe
The role will include working autonomously and as part of various teams and may involve interaction with other parts of Boeing and our suppliers.
Job Description:
Determining, evolving and managing stakeholder requirements
System Design including aspects of: Concept generation, Functional analysis using techniques such as Model Based Systems Engineering, Interface Management, Maintaining Design Integrity, Modelling and Simulation, Selecting Preferred Solutions, Integration & Verification, Validation and Transition to Operation
Systems Engineering Management, including: Project Planning, Monitoring and Control, tailoring of generic processes, input to technical risks and opportunities
The application of the fundamental concepts of systems thinking to systems engineering. These include: understanding what a system is; its context within its environment; its boundaries and interfaces; its lifecycle and an appreciation of the role the system plays in the super system of which it is a part.
The tailoring and application of engineering initiatives, best practices and processes.
Preferred:
Aiming for MEng/BEng in an engineering related subject
Candidates should be studying for a degree in Engineering.
Experience with Software will be an advantage.
Candidates should also have excellent communication and team working skills and a proactive approach to work.

Machine Learning Researcher Internship (Natural Language Processing/Computer Vision) – South Korea
Job Description:
Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of machine learning models
Collaborate with the data engineering team to collect and preprocess data for analysis
Participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions to solve complex problems through machine learning
Perform data analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation
Help in the design and optimization of machine learning algorithms
Document and communicate your findings and progress to the team
Qualifications:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals and algorithms
Proficiency in programming languages like Python, and experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
Familiarity with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data visualization
Good to have at least an intermediate level of knowledge in server engineering like resource management on multi-GPUs over multiple servers
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning

Commercial Intern – 12 Month Internship 2024 – England
Job Responsibilities:
Support proposal development and negotiation for contract change proposals
Manage administration of the change process
Shadow meetings with the external customer
Attend routine and ad-hoc meeting with internal programme stakeholders to address contract deliverables, manage progress of activities, resolve issues as they arise
Excellent record-keeping and commercial administration of all aspects of contracts
Learn the various approaches to problem-solving under contract, from evaluating and stating contractual positions to creating innovative commercial solutions
Build excellent working relationships, and develop good business judgment to protect the business, support customer needs and deliver value for money solutions
Review, interpretation, negotiation and application of contractual terms in relation to programme activities
Supported by other members of the Commercial team, identify risks, opportunities, improvement initiatives and work with stakeholders to leverage best outcomes
Preferred:
Studying at degree level in Business, Law, Finance or similar. No Minimum degree grade or GPA score required
Confidence and willingness to present and host meetings
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders of all levels
