Job Description:
Support large projects by applying Project Management skills including establishing a project plan, setting milestones, facilitation, and communication planning
Apply problem solving/engineering skills to apply agile solutions
Gather and analyze quality systems data and identify improvement opportunities
Adapt, learn, and empower others with use of digital tools utilized to improve business processes
Qualification:
Ideally you will be pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Engineering or MIS (Management Information Systems); others may apply
Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. accredited college/university
Graduation date of December 2024 or later
Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly
Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly
Must be able to commute to a John Deere facility as needed

Supply Management Summer Intern – USA
As a Supply Management Intern, you will be provided with opportunities to develop an understanding of John Deere’s products and services, establish a network of people to support personal and professional growth, and gain experience with entry-level sourcing, the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP), and the Enterprise Order Fulfillment Process (EOFP).
You may also:
Provide support to the development and execution of strategies and contracts for commodities of lower value and less complexity
Assist with cost models, make vs. buy studies, spend analysis, invoice issue resolution and other data analyses
Work with Strategic Sourcing to address chronic supplier performance issues and/or validation of suppliers during early supplier selection process as part of Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP)
Make use of Achieving Excellence process to manage the supplier’s performance
Qualification:
Sophomore or Junior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Production Operation Management, Distribution Management, Production Planning, Purchasing, Transportation/Logistics, Industrial Engineering or related degree or Senior pursuing Masters in Business Administration.
Minimum cumulative GPA required of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Analytics Data Engineer – Mexico
Job Responsibilities
Performs ignition/scada applications for Quality department in Saltillo Tractors.
Works with data sets and performs appropriate
analytical methodology to provide insights and decision modeling for the business.
Supports the communication of derived insights, especially through appropriate visualization techniques.
Supports the identification of the required data sources and works with Data Owners to implement methodologies to retrieve and use this data.
Applies analytical techniques to prospect for business insights and find patterns in data which could be valuable for the business.
Stays abreast of the latest appropriate analytical techniques and recommends these where needed. Explains implementation and usage in business terms.
What Skills You Need
Knowledge of advanced data gathering and analysis technique.
Knowledge of PowerBI or Tableau, etc. (don’t need to be power user in all, but familiar and willing to learn).
Knowledge of Power app / Power automate.
Knowledge in Scada / Ignition systems (PLC, sensors, MQTT, etc).
Good Level of English language domain.
Excellence in verbal and written communication forms with emphasis on persuasive communication, tact, and negotiation.
Qualification:
Quantitative analytical skills
Knowledge of appropriate industry, Business Process.
Good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Python and SQL knowledge and willingness to learn.
1+ year working with multi-cultural teams from other countries.
Background as Informatic Engineering/ Data Management, etc.
2+ y Project leadership experience.
1-3 years of data analytics experience.
Education
Degree in an Engineering/ Technology discipline or equivalent experience – University Degree (4 Years or equivalent).
Degree in a Science discipline or equivalent experience – University Degree (4 Years or equivalent).
