Graduate Apprentice – Instrument, Measurement and Control – United Kingdom
Job Description:
To develop practical skills in the field of Instrument, measurement and control in the work environment, support degree award and company future skill pool requirements.
Develop skills in the following areas Engineering design, modification, construction, and operational support of the following instrumentation equipment for offshore oil and gas facilities:
Engineering principles
Field measurements and indications
Control & monitoring systems
Shutdown and Safety Systems
Fire and Gas detection and systems
Safety Protection and Control systems
Industrial IT networks & cyber security
Satellite, radio, fibre optic, coaxial and hardwired communications
Project Management
The postholder is expected to adhere to the Golden Rules of Safety (transitioning to ‘The 9 Lifesaving Rules in 2020) and the Petrofac Values.
Qualification:
Educated to “A” or “higher” level or equivalent standard.

High level of Numeracy and IT skills
Willingness to learn.

Ability to meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel offshore.
