Food and grocery delivery platform Zomato is planning to hire 800 people across functions, its founder Deepinder Goyal said on LinkedIn.This comes close on the heels of layoffs in companies across sectors.

PepsiCo plans to hire around 1,200 people for its Global Business Centre in Hyderabad, The Hindu BusinessLine reports. The company currently has about 2,800 employees at this centre.

IT major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is looking to hire between 1.25 lakh and 1.5 lakh employees in FY24, reports The Times of India.4

Fintech platform Mobikwik is looking to hire 80-100 people across its engineering, marketing, finance, and collections teams, reports The Economic Times.

Ericsson is planning to hire around 2,000 employees in Pune, reports The Economic Times.

Global risk and financial advisory solutions company Kroll aims to hire 500 people for its offices in India, reports The Hindu Businessline.

Engineering and consultancy services firm Tech Mahindra plans to hire 3,000 people in Gujarat over the next five years, reports The Times of India. The move comes after the company signed an MoU with the Government of Gujarat.
Tech Mahindra has been tapping into local talent to fill up its vacancies. The company recently opened a new campus in Coimbatore, with plans of hiring 1,000 locally.

Professional services company KPMG plans to hire 20,000 people in India in the next two-three years, The Economic Times reports.
