The fourth-largest IT business in India Wipro has stated that it will honour all employment offers made to far but will bring on new hires gradually.
According to Livemint, Wipro is employing new employees with a five-year plan outlining professional advancement and remuneration, including annual raises and incentives.
Given the current market environment, the fourth-largest IT business in India has begun implementing this approach for new hiring, according to CHRO Saurabh Govil on Wednesday. During the first half of FY23, it employed 15,000 new employees.
Govil promised that Wipro would honour each job offer it had made up to that point, but would bring on new hires gradually. According to the company’s statement made after the release of its quarterly results, more than eight out of ten employees got 100% variable pay this quarter. Between July and September, the attrition rate likewise showed a little decline.
In order to find moonlighters, Wipro is comparing provident fund information and using startups to track service histories. According to Govil, the corporation would take measures against such personnel.
