Qualifications:
Cleared the ICAI Intermediate (Professional Competence) Examination or Professional Education (Examination-II) or Intermediate examination.
Should be available for a minimum of 15 months of CA Articleship at the point of application of this role.
Basic/Working Knowledge of key areas in Financial processes and risk relevant to banks books and ledger. Understanding of operations, technology, data, risk and Finance (including IFRS) will be an added advantage
Experienced with MS office toolkit (Word, PPT, Excel, Access Database etc).
Excellent communication and presentation skills in both formal and informal settings & ability to interact with the region and UK / US as part of a global team (written and verbal)
Desirable:
Basic knowledge of internal control and regulatory requirements & practice e.g. Turnbull, Sarbanes-Oxley, COSO, COBIT, ITIL.
Articleship experience in mid-large size firms in the areas of Financial / Audits / Risk. Exposure in large financial institutions / banks preferred
Experience of working in SAP financial accounting would be an added advantage.
