2024 APAC Graduate Programme – Transaction Banking – Trade Advisor – Australia
Our two-year graduate programme is designed to provide you with first class training and immediate responsibility, it gives you the support and development you need to start a successful career in financial services.
Final year students or recent graduates with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in any disciplines from a recognized university
Duration: 24 months
Start date: July 2024
Location: Australia
Eligibility Criteria:
• Apply as a recent graduate, final year undergraduate, or master’s student in any discipline;
• Possess GPA of 3.3 out of 4.0 or above (or equivalent) in any discipline;
• Have to be fluent in spoken and written English (additional languages are an advantage); and
• Demonstrate methodical, logical, solution-driven thinking, with commercial awareness and a keen interest in latest finance topics as well as market trends.
Job Description:
• Marketing calls to existing and prospective clients.
• Responsibility for follow up of marketing calls, including providing additional materials/information, any follow up calling on the company’s key trade operatives, and providing feedback to/interface with coverage officers.
• Research and identify prospective clients for allocated business initiatives.
• Preparation of marketing pitches and RFP responses for the Trade Finance product suite.
• Complete Trade Finance product memo, including review of product structure, documentation, pricing & return hurdles for all new trade product requests and annual review of existing trade facilities.
• Administration, including ad hoc reporting and tracking accurate revenue capture (in consultation with Finance & Control, Group Operations and TB Management).
Technical
• Finance based degree;
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with front, middle and back office stakeholders;
• Ability to communicate professionally and reliably with external clients;
• Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.

GM Graduate Program is a 12-month program in Global Markets designed to boost your professional development.
Support in all client activities, making sure we can respond to enquiries and maintain high client satisfactions
Market intelligence and research analysis on market trends and products launched in the market
support in the all post trading activity, with interactions in full autonomy with middle office and back office
Maintain our reporting activities and KPI monitoring for the business
Marketing material screening and preparation and support to organize events
Help in the organization of and participate in client conferences and seminars
Liaise with the Italian marketing team so as to create brochures, marketing materials and videos for new products
Qualification:
A degree from a leading university with an excellent academic record
A previous internship or work experience related to Capital Markets is a plus
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
