Job Description:
Performs complex Test Engineering tasks using specialized domain knowledge and advanced business experience
Support test strategy and optimization deployments(Apollo/ADT/PATHFINDER)
Support identification of technologies required for new products
Debug process and product problems; collects data and analyses yield problems; drives corrective action
Manages suppliers; drives cost reduction programs; supports development of six sigma goals
Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view
Provides guidance, direction, and instruction to less-experienced team members and colleagues
Support analytics and digitization projects
Investigating and using new technologies where relevant
Plans and implements system automation as required for better efficiency.

Test Capacity management and planning

Qualification:

Job Description:
The role will be to support AJPAC, with primary focus on the services for clients in Australia. Note, this may require time shifting.
You will be responsible for gathering of information in the event of an incident and assessing impact to the services.

Associate Application Engineer (Full Time) United States
Job Description:
The Associate Application Engineer will perform one or more of the following tasks while related to Acacia’s world-class optical products as a member of the Acacia department responsible for direct customer relationships. The individual will be assigned relevant work assignments to challenge them according to their current level of experience and capability.
Recreate real-world application environments in our optical lab to evaluate and verify customer issues
Develop creative workaround solutions to product limitations or bugs
Work with customers to help integrate Acacia’s products into their systems and networks
Work with the world’s leading systems and service providers to help build the networks of today and help define the networks of the future
Collaborate with team members to develop Python scripts that enable and manage system features
Address a broad range of technical disciplines, including electrical, optical, embedded SW, mechanical, and thermal.
Qualification:
Currently pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree majoring in Electronic or Electrical Engineering
Seniors or Master’s Program students preferred
Experience with electronic and/or optical system design
Classes completed: Signals and Systems, Electronic Design, Basic Programming Course. Coursework in optics or DSP would be a plus.
Great interpersonal and organizational skills
A solid general Engineering background
Good Analog Electrical Engineering basic skills
A healthy curiosity about how the physical layer of the internet works
