IT Internship – Data Engineer / Data Analyst – Zurich
Job Description:
As an intern Data Engineer / Data Analyst, you will support the overall delivery of the Global Sustainability data platform on Big Data technologies. This will entail performing all phases of the software development life cycle, from requirements, to design, implementation, testing, and deployment. You will collectively be responsible for the automated data sourcing and the automated data transformation on the platform, in a secured and controlled manner, that will enable various reporting, disclosures, and analytics activities regarding carbon footprint, sustainable financing, and sustainable investments.
Qualification:
Knowledge / Interest in Climate Change and Sustainable Finance.
Writing skills:
o Work with Global Sustainability business and IT team to support the Product Owner in establishing a prioritized backlog
o Contribute to the ongoing technical documentation of the project in wiki
Data modelling skills / knowledge: Use data modelling techniques (UML) to define conceptual, logical, and physical data objects, and comply with Chief Data Officer (CDO) principles and guidelines
Programming skills: Turn requirements / data model / business logic to code (Python, Spark, PySpark, Rest API)
Scrum and SAFe Agile frameworks knowledge: Embrace Agile mindset, values, and practices
