Corporate Intern – Global Public Policy
In this position, you will be a temporary associate working to provide research, logistical, and strategic support for the Walmart Policy Lab and the Global Policy Team. The Walmart PolicyLab is an incubator of ideas at the intersection of the public, private and non-profit sectors aimed at operationalizing Stakeholder Capitalism. We are looking for 3 summer temporary associate, from June to August, for a total of 10 weeks, 40 hours/week.
Location: This position will be fully onsite in Washington, D.C.
Job Description:
Secure advocacy opportunities and logistics for engagements
Submit diverse written reporting to Walmart executives
Carry out stakeholder mappings in key issue areas
Contribute to complex and time-sensitive deliverables and programs

Qualification:
You are a candidates for a Masters in public policy or international affairs
You have relevant globally oriented work experience in business or international relations for private sector, government, NGOs, trade associations, or similar
You have experience cultivating and managing stakeholder relationships with trust and integrity
You have excellent research and communication skills
You are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS in social science, government, international relations, or business

Analyst, Business Analysis and Insights – Enrollment Services
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to optimize provider enrollment services at Walmart. As a pivotal member of our team, you’ll analyze workflows, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive process improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to streamline procedures, manage data, and leverage analytics to enhance efficiency.

Job Requirement:
Analyze Enrollment Processes: Evaluate and optimize provider enrollment workflows, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and efficient onboarding.
Detailed Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of provider enrollment processes and identify areas for improvement.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement streamlined enrollment procedures.
Data Management & Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards for tracking enrollment metrics. Maintain accurate provider data, generate performance reports, and identify trends to support decision-making.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and payer-specific enrollment requirements, mitigating risks of non-compliance, and ensure compliance with internal policies.
Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in enrollment systems and propose solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
Technical Proficiency: Utilize enrollment software and data analytics tools to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
Data-Driven Insights: Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
Training: Assist in the development and execution of training programs for enrollment staff.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve enrollment issues, improve service delivery, and implement solutions.
Payer Support: Respond to Payer request for Provider enrollment information, such as Provider Rosters

For example, for Ticket Escalations, monitor and assist in escalating and reporting of Enrollment tickets to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction

Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field OR 1 year of experience in data analytics, project management, business, or a relevant area.
