Entry-Level Energy Analyst
AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Energy Analyst to be based in our Rocky Hill, CT or Boston, MA offices. This position will support our Energy team within our Environment business line.
This position is expected to begin December/January 2022-2023.
Job Description:
Data analysis to support projects related to energy efficiency, building decarbonization, renewable energy feasibility and transportation electrification
Performing energy calculations and cost to validate energy conservation measures (ECMs) on energy auditing projects
Energy and utility usage analysis for building decarbonization, energy efficiency, and energy management projects
Research on solutions for client projects related to advanced and emerging energy technologies
Preparing technical reports and presentations to communicate findings to clients and stakeholders
Provides basic support in the areas of project controls, scheduling, scheduling analysis, earned value management, and construction inspection activities in support of projects.
Activities may include assisting with engineering calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and engineering installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining project documentation.
General understanding of procedures, company policies to achieve set results and deadlines.
Performs routine tasks while working under close supervision.
Entry-level position, previous experience may not be required.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental), Environmental Science, or related field; or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Valid U.S Driver’s License required
Fluency with Microsoft Office products, including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
