We are seeking applicants from a wide range of disciplines, including civil, electrical, environmental, geotechnical, mechanical, structural, building services and chemical engineering, as well as design, planning, and program and cost management fields.
As a graduate, you’ll have the chance to work alongside industry leaders on iconic projects that help shape and connect our cities and communities.
Our Growing Professional Skills (GPS) graduate program is designed to help you bridge the gap between formal education and the workplace. The GPS program is spread across three years and comprises a range of core competencies and recommended training. As part of the program, we work with you to develop a plan, set your goals, and the actions required to achieve them.
Undergraduate Applications
Timing
July – August – Applications open.
August – September – online testing, one way video interviews and application reviews.
September – October – Face to face interviews and offers.
November – placements commence.
Application Process
Your application for an undergraduate role will be assessed through a staged approach including an initial application review, online video game testing, emotional intelligence assessment, video interview, and face-to-face interview.
Through the application form, video interview and face to face interview you will have an opportunity to show us why you want to work for AECOM, What you are passionate about and any experience/ extra curricular activities you have been involved in.

Employment offers
We will advise you if you have been successful after the interview by one of our graduate recruitment team and will be issued a formal offer of employment via email.
Onboarding
Most of our undergraduates commence in late-November and typically join for 12 weeks but we do have some flexibility on this. The team will be excited to welcome you onboard and provide you with a guideline to ensure you make the most of your placement with us.
