Job Description:
Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks.
Develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities through assigned tasks.
Exercise judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.
Prepare engineering related calculations, design drawings, specifications, and visual aids.
Assist with field work (e.g., groundwater and soil sampling, well installation, and contractor oversight).
Collect and enter data, and apply technical principles and theories.
Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, compare findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance, and draft reports based on observed conclusions and professional judgment.
Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering.
Valid US Driver’s License
U.S. Citizenship required
Demonstrated technical writing abilities
Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software
Ability to travel regionally for short-term overnight assignments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE)
Contractor oversight experience
