Software Engineer- Fresh Graduate (For Pooling) – Philippines
Job Description:
Responsible for design, development, modification, debug and/or maintenance of software systems
• You will design, develop, modify, debug and/or maintain software code according to functional, non-functional and technical design specifications.
• You will follow Amdocs software engineering standards, applicable software development methodology and release processes, to ensure code is maintainable, scalable, and supportable, and demo the software products to stakeholders.
• You will investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code, provide fixes and workarounds, and review changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions.
• You will work within a team, collaborate and add value through participation in peer code reviews, provide comments and suggestions, and work with cross functional teams to achieve goals.
• You will assume technical accountability for your specific work products within an application and provide technical support during solution design for new requirements.
• You will be encouraged to actively look for innovation, continuous improvement, and efficiency in all assigned tasks.
Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Science/IT/Computer Science or equivalent
• 0-11 months work experience in Java/C++, SQL, Scripting (server side) on Linux/Unix/Windows.
• Open to Fresh Graduates (Year 2023 and 2024)
• Willing to work on a Dayshift, Hybrid set-up (Work from Home and On site).
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and open systems.

IT Professional (Graduate) – Europe
We are looking for someone with good customer skills, who can communicate effectively with customers, on site employees and remote staff. Candidates must be comfortable with taking ownership of problems and demonstrate an ability to work on their own initiative. We are expecting a flexible approach to working, to share tasks and responsibility.
The successful candidate will be part of the IT Europe team and report directly to IT Europe Group Leader. The role is based in Limassol, Cyprus.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide level 2 support for internal customers in Cyprus and other sites in Europe.
• Provide Laptop and Desktop installations based on specific project requirements across Europe sites.
• Provide assistance when required for other professional teams.
• Carry out fault diagnosis/fix on PC systems and peripherals
• Carry out upgrading of PC hardware and peripherals
• Carry out changes to PC or peripherals Hardware/Software
• Carry out installations of hardware add-ons to PC systems and peripherals
• Carry out software configuration on operating systems and applications
• Carry out IT asset management related tasks.
• Ensuring compliance with organisation policies, procedures and work instructions
Qualification:
• Familiar in supporting various Microsoft operating systems (Windows 11, 10) and their basic services (DNS, DHCP, printing, ActiveDirectory, etc).
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365, Microsoft Teams.
• Hardware knowledge of PCs, laptops, and peripherals.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to analyse and interpret information
• Able to exercise good judgement and sound reasoning
• Self-motivated and energetic
• Fluent written and spoken English
Desired skills
• A relevant university degree such as a BSc in Computer Sciences or equivalent
• MCSE, MCP, CCNA, ITIL certifications
• MAC OS and Apple hardware knowledge
• Knowledge in mobile applications usage
