Supply Chain Graduate Program 2025 

We are looking for astute, energetic graduates to work across a number of Operations Departments undertaking 3 rotations during a 23 month period.

The departments you will work in include Planning, Reseller Operations, Logistics & Retail Fulfilment. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience across a matrix organisation.

Below is a brief description of each of the participating departments : SDM Responsible for keeping an appropriate balance between product supply and customer demand in a way that minimises inventory while maximising sell-through for all customers Reseller Operations

Job Description:

Immersive rotations through 3 Operations departments Work closely with cross functional teams, including Sales & Finance to execute Apple’s supply chain goals

Preparation of daily and weekly reports as required Support project activities Identify risks / bottleneck areas and take ownership to resolve; by initiating and implementing corrective action

Ability to maintain and develop relationships, cross functionally within the organisation.

Evaluating current business processes and see opportunities to improve.

Qualifications

Must have graduated in 2023 or later, with a minimum 2:1 degree in a relevant field

Analytical and strong numerical skills with the ability to evaluate, analyse and present data.

Self-starter with a consistent record in delivering results through team work

Adaptable and flexible approach with excellent attention to detail

Excellent communication skills both verbal & written

Strong Interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to prioritise with good time management skills

Test Engineer – Product Operations Graduate Programme

The Apple Product Operations team has developed a 23-month graduate programme. Our graduate programme is designed to give you exposure to the key functions of Product Operations including manufacturing engineering, quality, test engineering, software development, production and New Product Introduction.

You may have the opportunity to travel, and relocate to other locations as part of this Programme (US/Asia). We will support you throughout these relocations as part of the Graduate Programme.

Job Description:

Creation, testing & maintenance of factory test software for Apple Mac and iOS products

Test process development and implementation, including automated product testing

Continuous process improvement and optimisation, driving key performance metrics (Yield, UPH, Order Cycle Time, Cost, Scrap, DPPM, CPK etc.)

Provide direction and support to Regional technician and production trainer teams

Data analysis (test results, key performance indicators, etc.)

Documentation creation and release

Participate in new projects for global implementation

Work closely with Test Engineering, HW and SW teams worldwide

Qualifications:

Minimum B.Eng (Hons), M.Eng in Electronic / Electrical Engineering (or equivalent Third Level engineering qualification), completing in 2023 or 2024. A minimum of a 2.1 (Hons) degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Hardware failure analysis skills

Problem solving, communication and documentation skills

Familiarity with Apple hardware and software technologies

Ideally, experience in scripting languages such as UNIX shell, Perl, and/or Python.

MS Excel, data skills and experience with statistical analysis

Telecoms/Networking knowledge would be useful

Job Description

This position provides manufacturing engineering support to Product Operations in Cork and at EMEIA Distribution Centre locations.

The position will provide support and leadership in achieving World Class Manufacturing, Safety, Quality, Customer Service, and Cost standards through continuous process improvement activities.

Design, commissioning and qualification of semi-automated and automated fixturing

Support New Product Introductions across several product lines

Drive cycle time improvement, line balancing, line design, yield improvement and scrap reduction

Qualifications:

B.Eng (Hons) / M.Eng in Mechanical/Industrial/Mechatronics/Biomedical Engineering or equivalent completing in 2023 or 2024. A minimum of a 2.1 (Hons) degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to lean manufacturing principles including 5S, WCM, Standard Work and TPM

Consistently identifies, initiates and drives continuous improvement throughout the business.

Strong sense of urgency and customer orientation

Experience in engineering, manufacturing operations automation

Computer-literate with experience of appropriate simulation and CAD packages

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Good analytical, data analysis and problem solving skills

Six sigma quality training would be an advantage.

Software Engineer – Product Operations Graduate Programme

Job Description:

Our Shop Floor System software development team supports and enhances a large set of interconnected software systems used for data collection, process control and reporting in a manufacturing environment. In this role you will:

Gather requirements from internal stakeholders for new Shop Floor System capabilities, new product introductions and manufacturing process optimisations.

Work across a broad technology stack to develop software solutions that bring tangible, lasting, positive change to Apple’s Manufacturing Operations and the customers it serves.

Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to test, deploy & continuously improve our manufacturing software.

Troubleshoot issues, maintain IT infrastructure and ensure continued smooth operation of the manufacturing processes we support.

Qualifications:

BSc (Hons), M.Sc or equivalent in Computer Science or similar, completing in 2023 or 2024.

A minimum of a 2.1 (Hons) degree is required

Proficiency at developing web applications or web services

Experience in the PHP programming language

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

Proven ability to work to tight deadlines in a dynamic environment

AppleCare, Cork is responsible for managing customer service and support for the entire EMEIA region. The goal of the AppleCare organisation is to provide world-class technical support and service to the extensive installed base of Mac & iOS products and associated services.

Business Process Reengineering: This group provides the project and program management services to develop our comprehensive systems and process network supporting the different AppleCare business groups.

Data Analytics: Data analysis is a critical part of ensuring that our business functions are operating as effectively and efficiently as possible. This team develops the tools and perform the essential services to analyse big data for all business groups within AppleCare

Qualifications:

Will have achieved or expected to achieve a 2:1 or higher overall grade in undergraduate degree program or MSc

Will have graduated in 2024 or 2025
