Product Analyst – APE – United States
Job Description:
In this role you will be responsible to support Atlas Copco Power Technique Product Marketing Manager(s) and VP/BLM – APE in developing the business for Handheld Tools, Air Compressors and Specialty Air for the North America territory, including the United States and Canada for the APE Division. The energy transition towards sustainable solutions that reduces operational cost and greenhouse gas emissions offers a strong potential for short- and near-term growth in this region for our division, specifically through our electric and battery offerings.
you will work in the areas of product support, marketing operations, and marketing logistics to support sales to these customers.
You will report to the Product Marketing Manager(s) – APE in our US Customer Center, covering the United Stated and Canadian markets. You will collaborate with customer center support staff in logistics, training, material handling, marketing and communications, etc.
Qualification:
The successful candidate should have a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in engineering, marketing, or related field.
Excellent business analysis, planning and organizing skills.
Knowledge of the APE (Compressors and Tools) product range is a plus.
Hands on attitude
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Computer literate (SAP, C4C, Microsoft Office, etc.) and strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint would be an asset.
Positive attitude and willing to troubleshoot and problem solve any technical or commercial related product issues
Able to work unsupervised, independently and as part of a team.
Self-motivated and able to work under time constraints.
This is considered an entry-level position
Relevant internship or work experience is a plus.

Product Specialist Engineer & AI Explorer (Internship) – Europe
Begin your internship as a Junior Global Product Specialist Intern and AI explorer at Atlas Copco.

Project Engineer/Senior project Engineer – GPP CNG Engineering – India
Job Description:
Design and develop Gas compressors as specified in Master Specifications.
Be part of an engineering team to develop new products based on the design from the division to follow-up and further design/localize the products currently in production, against the committed time, cost and quality requirements.
Be part of Engineering Team, which has the ambition to be excellent in designing and manufacturing Atlas Copco compressors
Focus on cost reductions and lead special cost reduction projects as decided in the OFA PCM.
Make VK and PK costs transparent for all products produced in Dapodi Plant. Concentrate on consolidated cost pictures.
Take the lead to expand the export business out of India and lead these export projects in close cooperation with OFA Division in Antwerp.
Work closely together with sourcing department for designed parts.
Concept creations in 3D environment and EBOM management. Defining layout, and defining product architecture on EBOM
Releasing all engineering drawings and specifications through system.
Qualification:
Engineering Graduate- Mechanical Engineering.
Knowledge
Good communication skills in English language (verbal and written)
Solid understanding and mature user of O365 and digitalization tools.
Able to work independently with mechanical/electrical CAD drawing software (AutoCAD and Inventor)
BPCS and PLM Knowledge must.
Knowledge on design and development of compressors
New Product Development in line with the Atlas Copco group, CtP process/Equivalent process.
Strong technical knowledge of engineered gas compression systems and installations.
Able to work within a time frame in line with management requirement.
Able to plan and organize effectively with the right sense of urgency.
Customer focus is must.
Experience requirements
Minimum 5-7 years product design and development experience in mechanical engineering.
Proven experience on OFA products (Oil screws, Oil Free screws, Turbo machines, Pistons machines)
Should have good knowledge of Atlas Copco products, NPD process.
Should have very good analytical skills.
Should possess a good knowledge of manufacturing & qualification processes for compressor parts.
Should be conversant with Atlas Copco standards, design and drawing methodology.
Should interact with suppliers and visit them whenever necessary
Should be conversant with Office 365.
Experience to work within the Airpower organization in Atlas Copco Antwerp is a big asset.
