Competent to work under supervision on simpler technical support issues. Limited systems analysis responsibility. Assists in interpretation, evaluation and resolution of issues pertaining to the functional operation of application hardware and software products. Limited knowledge of business or function for which technical support is needed. Responsible for resolving routine, basic technical problems and inquiries. Entry level.

Tier 1 Network Operations, Technical Analyst
This role is an entry level to multiple technology positions. Performs commoditized activities which may include monitoring, event management, service requests, and engineering. Technical Analysts will build foundational experience in network, systems, application, access requests, production support, or security engineering.
Technical Analyst are expected to have a basic understanding of networking protocols with the ability to adopt new technologies and troubleshooting methodology (including the use of proactive and reactive tools). The work is always in alignment to the current and approved Network Services Standards, Incident and Problem Management Policies & Procedures, governance and management policies set forth by the firm.
