Graduate – IS&T Support – Australia

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of the role is to provide frontline application support for a large portfolio of applications. Based in Brisbane you will be part of a global team supporting engineering design and project management applications and data exchanges.

Reporting to the Manager of Applications Support you will collaborate with internal business customers and global peers to ensure applications and data exchanges are implemented in line with Bechtel standards. There will be opportunities for growth and exposure to multiple departments and work processes through collaboration with both business work process owners and the global Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) organisation. As the successful candidate, you will gain a great understanding of how a large global company operates and the key role IS&T has in successful business and project delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

Respond to customer needs, questions and concerns and expedite actions in an accurate, effective and timely manner

Support project application and data integration strategies by installing and maintaining software from an approved suite of company and project standard

Facilitate project systems reporting, data integration and work process review and improvement

Install and maintain software from an approved suite of company standards

Learn and follow standard operating procedures for end user IT requests, incident support and asset management practices

Participate in the rollout of new technologies, services and security remediations

Qualification:

Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action

Build productive and collaborative working relationships with local teams and global peers

Working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows 10/11 operating systems and Microsoft 365 products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.

Some knowledge of relational database design and querying using SQL

Some software development experience with C#/.NET and/or PowerShell being preferred

Some knowledge of PowerBI and PowerApps

Graduate Construction Coordinator – Europe

Job Summary:

The Construction Coordinator graduate acts as a representative of the construction functional group and serves as a link between Construction and the Engineering/Procurement teams. Participates in project meetings to represent construction, prepares and provides input to execution planning, schedules, cost, and general construction execution. Will develop a working knowledge of construction procedures, work processes, and automation tools used by construction and other functional organizations. Ensures that construction requirements are made known to the project team in a timely manner and obtains construction responses to the needs of other members of the project team. Early participation in the design development process by providing constructability input, with a focus on improving construction safety and quality, while seeking to optimize cost and schedule.

Job Responsibilities:

Support the development of constructability concepts.

Participate in constructability reviews during the design process.

Collaborate with the development of construction procedures, plans, and strategy documents.

Work with the design teams to ensure requirements are incorporated into the design, layout, and specifications.

Review lessons learnt from other projects and construction best practices.

Monitor and track engineering action items critical to support construction activities.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, or another relevant technical discipline from an accredited university with 1 year experience

Ability to work and remain in Poland without visa sponsorship, now or in the future

Demonstrated commitment to Environment, Safety and Health (ES&H)

Demonstrated commitment to a Zero Accident safety program

Must be computer-literate in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications

Experience resolving problems involving multiple parties
