Job Description:
candidate will be a crucial part of the Generator Excitation Solutions group with responsibilities for design/implementation functions, and project execution for digital generator controls. This role will be supporting Emerson’s Power and Water Solutions business.

Work on a combination of design and hands-on testing of the equipment you develop
Travel to customer sites to perform walk downs, maintenance, commissioning or other duties as needed
Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
Willing and able to travel up to 20% domestically
Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred
1-2 years’ experience in knowledge of generator excitation systems is a plus
Experience designing electrical systems is a plus
On the job training will happen; we are looking for you to have strong, hands-on experience from an internship, cooperative education experience (CO-OP), or a project-based academic assignment lasting at least six months. Building on a validated blend of education and experience is a shown success plan
