Automation Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor – USA
Job Description:
The Automation Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor will design, develop, and maintain electrical automation and instrumentation control systems or components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability. In this role, you will plan and direct the daily activities of instrumentation and electrical technicians performing preventive maintenance and repairs in accordance with the asset management program.
Job Accountabilities:
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the electrical department including instrumentation, controls systems robotics and safety.
Participate in developing operational and capital budgets, estimating labor, material, construction costs and designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial and industrial purposes.
Provide oversight and inspection during the commissioning and startup of new equipment and systems to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
Operate computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment while performing engineering tasks to produce electrical design elements consistent with project specifications accurately and timely.
Control inventory and place orders for various equipment, material, instrumentation, and electrical parts and supplies to ensure personnel can accomplish the tasks at hand.
Oversee contract maintenance and coordinates with consultants and contractors interacting with other departments and vendors to meet customer requirements and key performance metrics.
Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports.
You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR equivalent experience.
Minimum one year of directly related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Intermediate project management skills.
Prior experience in designing and building electrical systems such as power, lighting and signal.
Extensive experience with programming logic controller programming.
Experience with and understanding of manufacturing processes and methodologies.
One year of supervisory experience.
Strong electrical, PLC programing, instrumentation and robotics automation.

Reliability Engineer – USA
Responsible for applying technical knowledge to deliver continuous improvement in process and asset reliability for protein business located in Lake Odessa, Michigan.
Job Responsibilities:
(1) detecting and eliminating defects;
(2) partnering with team to ensure fulfillment of reliability engineering strategies;
(3) implementing reliability excellence activities by identifying and prioritizing reliability engineering value creation activities;
(4) executing development, design, and installation of predictive maintenance program and technology that align with area procedures;
(5) providing collaboration and guidance on maintenance repairs and production in reliability related processes and identification of critical spares;
(6) preparing technical reviews of projects and collaborating with related areas on new equipment reliability specifications; and
(7) identifying and eliminating defective equipment and optimizing equipment availability.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or related discipline;
Two years of reliability engineering experience, including monitoring and investigating machine equipment failures;
Knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies; and demonstrated proficiency with airborne ultrasound, root cause analysis, vibration analysis, and lubrication technology.
