MAPPING ESCALATION SPECIALIST
The Mapping Escalation Specialist is responsible for handling time critical and sensitive issues related to mapping operations (Maps). The Mapping Escalations Specialist should be trained in escalation protocol and be able to resolve difficult and complex issues in a timely manner.
Role & Responsibilities
Resolve the highest priority mapping issues according to established SLA’s.
Contribute to in-depth failure analysis to determine the root cause of problems or in correct edits.
Document all problem analysis and issue resolution methods.
Log feature requests and bugs to engineering teams as required.
Work with mapping imagery and data to make edits with exceptional quality and accuracy.
Use mapping tools and knowledge to continually improve map accuracy and edits.
Analyze map data and make decisions based on policy to complete map workflows.
Provide quantitative and qualitative insights to mapping processes as part of post-project analysis or deep-dive.
Run QA tools and answer key quality questions about imagery.
Enter key mapping metadata and other information as requested with high accuracy.
Handle complex and time-sensitive data modeling questions.
Contribute to in-depth failure analysis to determine the root cause of problems or incorrect edits.
Proactively identify and raise systemic problems with tools or processes.
Investigate complex problems, provide detailed insights, develop hypotheses, and propose solutions to mitigate, prevent, or solve them.
