The Trade Management role in the Australian cash securities business is responsible for day to day trade capture, allocation and confirmation functions supporting various trading desks including High Touch, Electronic Trading, Program Trading, Proprietary Trading, Equity Finance & Prime Brokerage desks. This team acts as the first point of contact for both our external & internal clients and is responsible for overall post-trade client experience. The team is well positioned as a line of defense performing various control, reconciliation and validation functions.
The position includes following roles and responsibilities:
You are responsible for accurate trade booking and allocations.
You are responsible for trade confirmations via OMGEO CTM, IRESS and Email.
You will handle trade give-ups over TRAIANA and handle exceptions.
You are responsible for cancel and correct, trade breaks and address root-cause issues.
You will independently handle reconciliations and other assigned control functions.
You will co-ordinate with cross-functional stakeholders across the bank i.e. Front Office, Settlements, Corporate Actions and other control teams from a trade management perspective.
You will act as a line of defense by remediating and escalating any trade or control related issues.
You will act as Single Point of Contact to handle queries from internal and external clients for trade booking, allocation and confirmation related queries.
You will contribute to change-the bank and run-the bank initiatives.
You have a good understanding of trade life-cycle and market nuances.
You have hands-on exposure to various trade matching platforms i.e. CTM, IRESS, TRAIANA
You have hands-on experience with Ms Excel and peripheral tools.
You are a self-starter who can work independently with limited supervision.
You have strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
You have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
You have the ability to multi-task and work to intra-day deadlines.
You demonstrate flexibility to thrive in high-pressure situations.
You demonstrate control acumen and ownership of breaks, exceptions and red-flag items.
Your experience of Front Office facing functions a plus
