Job Description:
We are looking for a talented Systems Engineer to join our Accelera team in Milton Keynes.
This entry level/early career professional, product focused position performs established technical tasks at the product and cross-business integration level for current and future products within a given business unit or corporate area.
This involves work across many steps in the product life cycle.
Because of the product centered nature of this position, they are very often a central point of coordination and decision making between product engineers, product line engineers, customer teams, purchasing, suppliers and manufacturing.

ELECTRONICS SYSTEM PRODUCTION ENGINEER – INDIA
Job Description:
This product focused position tailors electronic systems for Cummins products. People in these positions will configure (tune), integrate, test, and release software, electronic control units, tools, sensors, actuators, and harnesses into an electronic system that controls the operation of Cummins’ products in a variety of customer applications.
Investigates electronic application and systems problems, understands causal mechanisms, recommends appropriate action, owns problem resolution and documents results with guidance from more experienced team members.
Applies and supports the improvement of electronic application and systems development processes and tools. Processes include system specification, modeling and simulation, calibration, Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R), and troubleshooting. Tools include Simulink, calibration tools, and PTC Integrity.
Obtains input and negotiates with product and software development teams and delivers control system designs, verified and calibrated software features and builds to product teams.
Makes decisions in the areas of electronic system design, requirements, calibration, and test that impact the quality and performance of individual calibrated features and/or components.

Quality Systems Analyst – Europe
Job Description:
Support in the implementation of the IATF:16949 standard in the organization
Support in maintaining the existing QMS systems at our location in Herten and promoting improvement projects
Collection of data to support communication between the organization and management of the business unit and company for quality
Assist in maintaining the Enterprise Management System (Quality) manual, which contains the scope of the management system.
Conducting audits, maintaining audit plan documents and audit records, collecting and analyzing information related to the audit program and preparing reports:
Support in the implementation of the FCHT-QMS roadmap.
Support in the introduction of new FCHT QMS systems.
Collaboration with the entire quality team globally
Qualification:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a technical field of study (quality, industrial, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering) or relevant experience in the above areas
Experience in quality management in the automotive industry, in the field of renewable energies or in mechanical engineering.
An advantage – knowledge of the IATF 16949 standard or the willingness to learn it;
Green Belt training or willingness to receive training and work toward certification;
Problem-solving skills and a good communication style
Very good knowledge of German and English
