2025 Early Careers – Product Engineer – China 

This entry level/early career professional, product focused position performs established technical tasks at the sub-system and/or component level for current and future products within a given business unit or corporate area.

This involves work across many steps in the product life cycle. Because of the product centered nature of this position, they are very often a central point of coordination and decision making between product line engineers, customer teams, systems engineers, purchasing, suppliers and manufacturing.

Qualification:

College, university, or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or appropriate STEM field is required.

Post-graduate (Master’s) degree relevant to this discipline area may be required for select roles.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Entry level/Early career professional. Preferred candidates would have relevant experience working in either a temporary student employment environment (intern, co-op, or other extracurricular team activities) or as an early career professional in a relevant technical discipline area. Knowledge of MS Office tools is also preferred

QUALIFICATIONS

Major in Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, Vehicle Engineering or related areas

Mechanical design and development of Power Generator products

Engineering validation of Power Generator products

Knowledge of engine, alternator, metal material, fluid and thermal, etc.

ACCA Apprenticeship – Planning, Forecasting & Reporting – UK

RESPONSIBILITIES

Completing Month End Activities to assist with production of monthly financial statements.

Building and maintaining relationships with external and internal customers, other finance disciplines and work teams

Cost analysis and preparation of variance explanations through investigation and communication with the wider business

Assist with the monthly forecasting process for CBS Europe

Make accounting adjustments through appropriate journal entries.

Contribute to continuous improvement projects within the team.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Obtained Level 4 AAT

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a relevant accounting role

Proficient IT and MS Office skills are essential.

Excellent Communication skills and ability to work in a proactive manor.

Apprentice Management Intern – Australia 

If you are an undergraduate Business student looking to jump start your career, we are offering a 13-month full time or part time internship based at our Perth office .

This is a unique opportunity to gain skills and knowledge while you are working full time commencing 27th January 2025. In this role you will provide administrative support to the Apprentice Program Management (APM) team and APAC Training Manager.

The key aspect of this role supports both internal and external stakeholders within the operational environment of Cummins Asia Pacific and specifically the South Pacific Region Apprentice Program.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To qualify for this undergraduate internship, it is essential that you:

Are currently studying a Bachelor degree in Business or a related discipline.

Have between 1 and 8 units of study left to complete of your undergraduate degree as of January 2025

Are available for the full 13 months and be willing to defer your studies for that duration.

Note: Applicants that do not meet these qualifying requirements unfortunately will not be considered.

To be successful in this role, you will possess skills/abilities or be able to perform:

Ability to understand and maintain confidentiality.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Good interpersonal and customer service skills
