IT Application Analyst – China
Job Description:
Provides comprehensive application functionality, configuration and support expertise for application software solutions; works with business analysts, architects, technical experts and software vendors on the solution requirements, design, configuration, functionality gap resolution, implementation, support, maintenance and enhancement of the applications.
Assists in the analysis and evaluation of application functionality. Documents recommendations to increase utilization of standard application functionality to improve business processes and capabilities.
Contributes to the determination and documentation of optimum application setup and configuration to meet functional requirements and specifications. Configures and verifies application setup and configuration.
Develops expertise in emerging application and solution trends and functionality. Provides functional recommendations for assigned applications and systems.
Contributes to the analysis of potential application solutions, Able to document recommended solutions to address functionality gaps in the application.
Qualification:
College, university, or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Business or a related subject required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Minimal relevant work experience required. 1-3 years of experience
Regional support for the sites in APAC and also needed to play a global team member role for global projects;
IT support for the sites, needed for critical events like month-end, year end close, API and audits etc;
Act as liaison between site business and IT teams;
Good understanding on the Oracle Ebiz technologies and other Oracle technologies;
General functional understanding of Oracle Application distribution, manufacturing and Finance modules;
Knowledge in Agile, ITPM methodologies;
Knowledge of SQL, Java or Python development is a plus;
Proactive and open mind;
Technically inclined; Global and strategic mindset;
Good communication skills in English
