DHL has an immediate opening for an Operations Supervisor at our MIA Hub in Miami, Florida. This position will coordinate all airline operational aspects in/out of the Miami International Airport for the DHL Latin American Region. Supervises the ACS operation and Third Party Services Companies.

Job Description:
Communicates all aircraft operational issues with the individual airline flight control centers and the respective Miami entities.
Coordinates activities for ACS charter flights in/out of the MIA airport, including but not limited to fueling, loading, gate assignment, notifications to Department of Agriculture, liaise with Dade County Aviation Department, and flight crews.
Oversee postal mail material is recovered and transferred.
Receives and processes the inbound flights through AMS and performs all related duties of the outbound flights operations.
Ensures that all flight related documentation is completed in a timely manner so that operations are carried out per published schedules, and send the proper docs support to the station/airline in charge.
Ensures that contracted third party suppliers receive/build-up, and breakdowns/deliver all ACS material in accordance with contracted terms and in compliance with Customs, FAA, ICAO, IATA, TSA etc. guidelines.
Skills & Qualifications
Functional knowledge in handling air cargo and warehouse operations.
Knowledge of DHL‘s business and core processes to make relevant assessments and recommendations.
Decision making skills to take clear and prompt decisions within main operational responsibilities.
Organizational skills plan and optimize the different operational procedures related to Flight Operations, ACS, the Warehouse, and the staff in charge, to achieve compliance with the standards and internal requirements needed to meet the schedules of the aircraft.
Excellent communication skills and demonstrated fluency in written and spoken English. Bilingual in English and Spanish plus.
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
Minimum two years experience in a supervisory position. Preferably in air operations, controlling operational processes, handling Air Cargo, and Warehouse.
High School or GED equivalent. Preferably technical studies/university
