Document Controller

Job Responsibilities:

1. The processing and distribution of project documentation as per the relevant company/project procedures, accurately using EDMS systems and implementing relevant QC checks.

2. Assist in the project close out & handover function to ensure that all projects are closed out correctly and in a timely manner.

3. Providing support to the Document Control team in dealing with emails, queries, and general requests.

4. Liaising with external clients.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Technical Assistant

The below is an outline of key duties and accountabilities, rather than an exclusive or exhaustive list of responsibilities. The post holder is expected to undertake any tasks which may reasonably be expected within the scope of the position.
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for all projects personnel and support the employment lifecycle alongside the HR and resourcing teams.
Liaise with the Head of Disciplines to ensure accurate tracking of engineering competency and accuracy of the competency dashboard.
Support projects personnel with training course identification and booking arrangements.
Assist in preparing monthly performance packs, analysing data and running performance meetings across the client portfolio to drive continuous improvement and strategic decision making.

QUALIFICATIONS:

University degree or equivalent level preferable
Attention to detail; efficient and highly organised; pro-active self-starter and a team player
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels and between different cultures

Principal Engineer – Quality (Fabrication Yard) – UAE

Job RESPONSIBILITIES:

Possess a minimum year of experience in a Senior Quality Engineer/Inspector role in fabrication of offshore topside and jackets.
Accumulated few years of experience in a relevant environment, with minimum years in Wind Energy or Oil and Gas offshore Platform Fabrication Companies in the Europe or UAE, or East Asian regions.
Hold certifications in Welding Inspection (AWS CWI/CSWIP), NDT (ASNT/ISO 9712 Level II or Level III), Coating Inspection (BGAS/NACE Level II/Level III), and QMS Lead Auditor (ISO 9001:2015).
Experience in procurement activities.
Support to review and provide your input on the Fabrication yard ITPs/ITRs.
Conduct subcontractor capability assessment, as assigned.
Moderate/review subcontractor post order evaluation report/matrix.
Quality Incident (QIs) raised during surveillance visit in a month and closure status.
Coordination and resolution of any nonconforming product.
Reviewing subcontractor QA/QC systems in accordance with project requirements.
Coordinate with discipline engineers and Subcontractor engineers on establishing project specific quality criteria.
Ensure the verification of documentation and certificates for materials purchased by subcontractors.

Qualification:

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Certified Welding Inspector (CSWIP 3.1/3.2/AWS CWI/SCWI). Painting Inspector (NACE Level II/III/BGAS Grade 2/1) or equivalent PREFERRED.
ASNT/PCN Level II in VT, RT, PT, MT & UT & ISO 9001-2015 certification.
Should have previously worked with a major EPC contractor.
Few years of experience in a Senior Quality Engineer/Inspector role in fabrication of offshore topside and jackets.
Experienced with EN ISO and DNV Code and standards.
Must have a thorough working knowledge of International Codes and Standards.
English: Good communication skills, both spoken and written.

Engineer I – Proposals – Malaysia

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review early requirement of ITB prepare applicable paperwork.
Develop Proposal / Bid response as per ITB Requirements (for pre and post proposal submission) as per procedure on schedule, within budget and to highest quality
Ensure compilation of overall submission documentations on time
Cross-functional input gathering and analyzing – internal (Technical and Non Technical team, other Petrofac Office) and external (Collaboration Partner, 3rd Party Service provider)
Ensure all proposals databases, files and reports are updated on a regular basis in both server and digital management system.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Any Field)
Registered as a professional engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia or Institute of Engineers Malaysia or other board of professional engineers recognized by BEM or IEM.
Minimum 1 to 5 years in Oil and Gas Engineering Consultancy environment. Experience in O&M and / or Decommissioning and / or Wells Engineering is desired
Excellent time management, communication, market awareness, technical writing and adapt to fast pace environment
