Associate Engineer – DataDoc Mgmt – Philippines

Job Description:

This role is responsible for the maintenance, assurance, technical support, and standardization of Shell’s Upstream, IG and Downstream assets technical data.

This role is expected to assist with the implementation of Data/Document Control procedures and operationalising systems, processes and work instructions as per the Information Management Plan.

You will also ensure Data/Document Management consistency across all Projects, rigorously, often times maintaining control and traceability of the documentation from Project initiation throughout to completion for a portfolio of small to medium sized projects.

Qualifications:

Preferably a graduate of Engineering, with 2-5 years of experience handling technical documentation in the Oil and Gas or related industry.

Experience working in an ERT or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as SAP/Blueprint.

Experience working in an Engineering Document Management Systems (EDMS.) such as AIM-EDMS / ASSAI / AHA.

Experience in applying document management standards (such as Document Numbering schemes), metadata management, and working in an established document management workflow.

Technical Documentation of Project Drawings – IFR/IFC’s, Level Sketches, P&IDs, PEFs, etc., Vendor/OEM Manuals, Equipment Diagrams

Experience in AIM-EDMS, ASSAI, and Primavera is a big advantage.

Experience in Engineering Projects as part of project controls team is an advantage.

Experience in Reporting and Analysis and use of tools such as MS Access, Advanced Excel, Spotfire, Power BI, and other similar tools is an advantage.

Experience in Engineering Continuous Improvement practices, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, and Total Quality Management is an advantage.

Claims Specialist in Logistics – Europe

Job Description:

Investigate the events of crude oil (or related products) claims and check the contractual agreement around costs.

Prepare product quantity, quality, and freight claims with third parties and stakeholders to maximize income while reducing costs paid out to prevent exposure for Shell.

Ensure timely recovery of claims and correct reflection of financial implications in trading systems.

Co-operate with global stakeholders (such as Oil Traders, Commercial Operators, Inspection companies, Legal team, Product Quality team, etc).

Negotiate claims to deliver value and retain profit.

Prepare monthly/quarterly reports and trend analyses.

Manage and monitor the sanctions process according to Compliance requirements.

Requirements:

University Degree level or equivalent work experience.

Exposure to working with global stakeholders and counterparties via remote communication.

Job Description:

STR Operations Development Program – Netherlands

The STR Operations Development Program (SoDP) is a traineeship opportunity for individuals who are interested in becoming future commercial operators within Shell. The duration of the program is two years during which you get the opportunity to experience various positions within the fields of Trading Operations. The traineeship aims to develop you to be a good operator which means that once traders get the ‘trade’ in, operators need to guide their distribution in the right direction. You will be the first contact for the ports worldwide, the Traders, the customs and internal contacts.

During the traineeship you will learn a lot of different aspects related to Trading & Supply Operations. For example:

Setting up contracts with the Traders,

Deciding on which claims are well founded or not

Logistical planning for transportation.

After successful completion of the traineeship the next steps in your career will be discussed based on your abilities and interests with the aim to become a successful commercial operator on a trading operations desk.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s (HBO) or Master’s Degree with up to 3 years working experience and strong interest in either Supply chain, Trading or Oil & Freight Operations.

Fluent in English and Dutch. German and French language skills are an advantage.

Good communication & analytical skills.
