SWE – Intern (Software Engineer), WTE – Europe
The Apple Cellular Protocol Software (CPS) team is actively looking for an intern to learn and grow in our Access Stratum team. As a member of this team, you will use your practical knowledge and experience with computer science to help us build, maintain and extend the necessary architectures that assure successful, efficient and bug-free delivery of the software and collaborate with the most innovative software teams in the world.
This intern position provides prospective candidates an opportunity to get hands on experience in Apple cellular software development. You will join the Access Stratum team who takes care for access stratum development from end to end. At the end, you would acquire a fair knowledge in protocol strack development cycle and tesing. In that context, the internship may include any of the following based on the need: – Requirements extraction from 3GPP – Development of different modules – Testing of Access Stratum component – Analyzing and debugging different issues – Automation of daily activities using scripts, etc.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Sciences, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related major
Basic understanding of Wireless communication standards, preferably Cellular Protocol Stack
Good knowledge of C language
Good Knowledge of scripting languages (perl, python, Javascript)
Basic knowledge of continous integration, Git would be a plus
Ability to work independently and as member of a team, with strong communication ability
Good analytical skills.
Willingness to learn, improve and be mentored

Wireless Charging Integration Engineer – United States
We are looking for a system integration engineer that leads the integration of the inductive technology into products in the partnership with multiple discipline teams including but not limited to architecture, FW, system EE, silicon, noise and vibration, safety, thermal, reliability, operations , regulatory teams and more.
You will be developing and designing wireless power systems. You will be expected to meet a high standard for analysis, and manufacturing discipline, and work with cross functional teams to pass all specifications and requirements necessary to ship a product.
• Schematic and PCB layout review
• Define factory tests, test limits, and work with factory and peers to perform failure analysis and corrective actions
• Write requirements, specifications, and test plans for both hardware and FW
• Guide the team in the development of necessary algorithms, state-transition diagrams/flowcharts and analysis for
each regime of operation
• Experience with high volume mass production is a plus
• Up to 10% travel required
• Bachelors in relevant EE field, Masters preferred
• At least 2 years of relevant technical work in industry for Bachelors or prior internship experience for Masters

Technical Specialist – India
As a Technical Specialist, you help new owners get started and current ones get quick, efficient support — developing strong, positive relationships with Apple. When a customer needs assistance, you quickly assess their situation. Sometimes you take care of customers with advice or a solution on the spot, using your knowledge of current Apple technology to help with iPod, iPhone and iPad devices. At other times, you refer customers to support team members who get them up and running again. You even provide personal training for new customers, helping them acquire the basic skills they need to get started on photo, video and music projects.
