Controls Support Engineer – Entry Level – USA

Job Description:

Support Naco production by answering technical and product definition data (PDD) questions, and resolving build and test questions. Main area of focus will be controls but position will also provide support to coil winding, stacking, component and unit assembly, and component and unit test.

Attend tier meetings. Act as a liaison between Production and Engineering both in Naco and Badger.

Evaluate and process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and issue Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) to modify PDD.

Ensure product is built and tested to Industry, Quality and Engineering design standards.

Maintain PDD data such as drawings, bills of materials, and characteristics.

Implement design changes in the shop, ensuring changes are implemented with minimal issues.

Identify Design for Manufacturing (DFM) opportunities and lead several DFM activities/projects.

Identify and implement product cost out (VAVE) opportunities.

Provide timely, accurate and succinct updates to Waukesha Engineers with all Engineering related activities in Naco.

Participate in design reviews of new ratings and other design changes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering

0 – 3 years of relevant experience in electromechanical products and embedded control systems

Order Entry Specialist

Primary Responsibilities include receiving, analyzing, entering and processing incoming orders on a timely basis while maintaining customer service center and ISO quality standards. Orders generally received via email, fax, or EDI.

Qualifications:

Associate Engineer – Product Design

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide design support for New Product Development and current product engineering related projects for Torque Control Products.

Applicant needs to closely work with technical lead to provide timely support and ensure deliverables in line with project schedule.

The role is to support design activities from concept to launch of the product in co-ordination with various internal stakeholders like test lab, manufacturing, and project management.

The applicant should be proficient with 3D drafting tools like Creo and tolerance stackups for product design.

Good to have hands on knowledge of design for six sigma tools and methodologies.

The applicant must be self-motivated and possess good communication skills with cross functional team.

Prepare packaging layouts, design concepts in 3D drafting tools Creo for current product engineering and NPI projects.

Demonstrate and leverage knowledge on engineering fundamentals and analytical skills to leverage analysis first approach.

Product Engineer

Job Description:

Develop a variety of complex drawings and bills-of-material based upon established product designs, providing sufficient detail to accurately convey the purchaser’s equipment application.

Consult with plant and field sales engineers in interpreting and defining new equipment applications.

Coordinate mechanical and electrical interfaces with other products.

Advise C.O.D., Manufacturing and Purchasing – when required – in interpreting information for the accurate production of equipment in accordance with the purchaser’s requirements.

Consult with the Quality Department in resolving issues after the equipment is shipped, when required.

Direct purchaser visits to approve or release equipment.

Conduct special development/application projects of a complex nature.

Inform in cost and cycle time improvement activities.

Plan travel as required to support any of the above.

Conduct technical training seminars, as required.

Provide technical training and guidance to department personnel.

Analyze needs and recommend revisions to Department Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications:

Completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.

Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.

Preferred:
