Co-Op: Field Service Engineer – US

This co-op will help prepare you for both technical and future leadership roles at Eaton. As a co-op, you will be provided with a structured training and development curriculum; a blend of instructor-led, virtual classrooms, eLearning courses, and on-the-job training provided by expert mentors and team members to assist you in developing your career.

Qualifications:

• Actively enrolled in or received a bachelor’s degree program in engineering or applied science from an accredited institution.

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.80 or higher (please do not round)

• Must be able to work in the US without corporate sponsorship now or in the future.

• No relocation offered, candidates within 50-mile radius considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

Junior Electronics Design Engineer – GBR

We have an exciting role for a Graduate Electronics Design Engineer to work for a mix of products ranging from low volume, high value rugged industrial workstations, to high volume intrisically safe isolators/barriers. The ideal candidate will have experience of both analog and digital hardware design to work at our Sutton Plant where you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skillset.

Job Description:

Development and sustaining of a diverse range of products.

Active participation in a culture of continuous improvement, refining and defining procedures and processes to ensure good quality product meeting cost and time-to-market objectives. A Six-Sigma background would be valuable.

Active involvement in the development and review of product designs.

Abiltiy to write clear and unambiguous process and product documentation.

Demonstration of excellent problem solving skills.

Adoption of best practices.

Support concept/bids phase evaluation of projects with respect to task identification/estimation.

Participation in the definition of product roadmaps.

Maintaining an awareness of current industry trends and maintaining relationships with suppliers to make best use of emerging technologies.

Product Engineer – Early Talent

Job Description:

• Consult with plant and field sales engineers in interpreting and defining new equipment applications.

• Develop a variety of complex drawings and bills-of-material based upon established product designs, which provides sufficient detail to accurately convey the purchaser’s equipment application.

• Coordinate mechanical and electrical interfaces with other products.

• Advise Drafting/Design, Manufacturing, and Purchasing – when required – in interpreting information for the accurate production of equipment in accordance with the purchaser’s requirements.

• Manage purchaser onsite visits to approve and/or release equipment for shipping.

• Manage Manufacturing and Engineering Change Notices.

• Demonstrate advanced computer skills with ability to learn required software (Bid Manager, AutoCAD, Design Automation, MAPICS).

• Consult with Quality in resolving issues after the equipment is shipped, when required.

• Conduct special development/application projects of a complex nature.

• Inform cost and cycle time improvement activities.

• Conduct technical training guidance and seminars, as required.

• Analyze needs and recommend revisions to Department Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited institution with a graduation before August 2025

• Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future

• Minimum of one internship or co-op experience or an equivalent of 3 months of related experience completed at the time of this application

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in electrical engineering

• Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher

• Electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing Internship/Co-Op experience

• Knowledge of power distribution products (LV and MV Switchgear, Panelboards and Switchboards, Motor Control Centers, etc.)

Internship: Tax – Houston, TX

The Eaton Internship Program – Tax is designed to provide opportunities to a diverse mix of students who demonstrate the same high level of ethics, values, creativity and performance we expect from our employees. This program provides exposure to one or more of the specialty areas within the Tax function. During the 12-14 week paid internship, students will work on projects that have a measurable impact on our operations and will be coached and mentored by Eaton leaders.

As a participant in the program, you will complete assignments that will give you the hands-on experience to get started in your career. These assignments may include assisting with federal, international, or state tax compliance, researching and analyzing the tax implications of proposed transactions or legislation, or assisting with the development or implementation of a tax planning idea or business transaction.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or received a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in business with a major in Accounting from an accredited institution

• Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher (please do not round)
