Semiconductor Applications Engineer – New Grad – US
Job Responsibilities:
Test & Measurement Applications Engineers spend their time:
Interacting with customers to understand their technical and operational requirements and recommend appropriate T&M solutions
Creating proof-of-concepts with T&M NI hardware and software for demonstrations to customers
Building relationships and trust with customers and account managers
Collaborating with cross-functional teams on product feedback and contribute towards technical initiatives
In your first six months, you will receive tailored technical and business training that will prepare you for an AE role serving customers in the Semiconductor / Electronics Industry.
Qualification:
Bachelor of Science degree with an engineering or computer science concentration
Familiarity with electronic measurement equipment (e.g., Power supplies, DMMs, Scopes, function generators, etc.)
Familiarity with high-level programming language (e.g., C, C++, C#, LabVIEW, Python, etc.)
English language proficiency
Effective oral, written, presentation and communication skills
Effective collaboration skills
Availability to travel up to 25% of time throughout the Americas region

Job Description:
Provide assistance and work with project engineering team to deliver ICSS projects successfully.
Provide technical support to customers.
Help project team to engineering design and configuration of Emerson ICSS systems and actively participate to assigned tasks.
Help project team for preparing and updating project documentation.

Technical Support Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
Resolve Technical Issues – Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues during installation, implementation, or maintenance of NI products, escalating complex cases as needed.
Maintain Customer Relationships – Act as a trusted advisor by understanding and anticipating customer needs, and building loyalty across all account tiers.
Collaborate with Internal Teams – Work with R&D to address reliability or design issues and share customer insights with sales to identify new opportunities.

Graduate Sales Engineer – UK
Job Responsibilities:
Located out of our Stockport office you will partake in a 12-month rotational programme rotating between our key business areas.
During this time, you will learn about the products and services we offer, collaborate with our sales and technical teams to deliver excellent customer service, and contribute to the business growth, increasing sales opportunities with our customers.
You’ll actively participate in opportunity creation, solution engineering, proposal development, negotiation, closing, booking, and processing customer orders.
Upon completion of the program, you will transition into the role of an Inside Sales Engineer. This role will further nurture your professional growth within Emerson.
You will be required to live within a commutable distance of our Stockport office (or being willing to relocate).
Qualification:
Be on course to achieve a Bachelors Degree or Masters in a STEM discipline, with a graduation date between 2024- 2025.
