Claims Specialist in Logistics – Poland
Investigate the events of crude oil (or related products) claims and check the contractual agreement around costs.
Prepare product quantity, quality, and freight claims with third parties and stakeholders to maximize income while reducing costs paid out to prevent exposure for Shell.
Ensure timely recovery of claims and correct reflection of financial implications in trading systems.
Co-operate with global stakeholders (such as Oil Traders, Commercial Operators, Inspection companies, Legal team, Product Quality team, etc).
Negotiate claims to deliver value and retain profit.
Prepare monthly/quarterly reports and trend analyses.
Manage and monitor the sanctions process according to Compliance requirements.
Actively seek Continuous Improvement opportunities to save time and money and enable you to effectively shape your work.
Take responsibility for safety, compliance, and audit readiness.
Job Requirements:
University Degree level or equivalent work experience.
Exposure to working with global stakeholders and counter parties via remote communication.
Evidence of ability to identify the root cause of problems and generate/support creative solutions to those problems.
Inquiring and strong analytical skills to understand every detail of an Oil deal, its execution, and the technicalities around the operation.
Microsoft Excel skills at medium level.
Ability to read and interpret legal language would be an asset.
Experience in the industry, particularly in Marine/Terminal Operations, Oil Loss Claims, Quality claims, Refinery and Terminal Logistics, and/or Trading Contracts would be an advantage.

This role is intended to support the Scotford asset’s PTM journey by providing technical expertise and leadership in the Rotating Equipment condition monitoring area.
Job Requirements:
University Degree in Instrumentation or relevant Engineering
2 to 4 years of overall working experience in operation/maintenance in Oil & Gas / Petrochemicals Industry
Experience and knowledge in rotating machines performance and health monitoring.
Knowledge of instrument asset management system etc., shall be an added advantage.
Strong aptitude for Learner Mindset
Flexibility to move quickly across changing priorities and manage multiple Projects/Program
Ability to independently, resourcefully, and creatively research and implement new solutions.
A good understanding of the Upstream/DS/IG business and how it works.
Ability to engage and effectively communicate at all levels inside and outside Shell and within different cultural settings.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to challenge and ability to build internal and external relationships based on trust and to integrate across multiple functions.

Primary responsibility in preparing work plan/packs for daily, weekly, monthly routine planning in SAP PM Module for Rotary, Static equipment’s
University Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 2-5 years of overall working experience in Field operations and maintenance in Oil & Gas / Refinery/Petrochemicals Industry/equivalent industry.
Should have Field Maintenance, Planning experience of rotating equipment like airfins, compressors centrifugal pumps etc., maintenance of static equipment like columns, safety valves, valves, pressure vessels, heat exchangers etc.
