Honeywell Graduate Entry Level role and Honeywell Internship
System Engineer / Specialist (New Grad) – Canada
We are seeking a member to join our team to learn and assist in the design and implementation of our technologies. The member will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to ensure project deliverables are met on-time and to the satisfaction of our clients. The successful candidate will have a passion for control systems and a desire to learn and grow in our organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and implementation of Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
- Participate in the development of control strategies and logic diagrams
- Participate to develop Human Machine Interface (HMI) graphics for operational displays
- Assist in the testing and commissioning of control systems
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to ensure project deliverables are met, on-time, and to the satisfaction of our clients
- Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of control system issues
- Participate in the development and maintenance of project documentation, including functional specifications, design documents, and test plans
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or Chemical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls, Electronics Technology
Preferred:
- Strong interest in Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
- Strong interest in SCADA
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
- Knowledge of DCS platforms
- Knowledge of the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Generation, or Chemical industries
- Knowledge of control theory and instrumentation
- Must be a new grad to be considered for this role.

Electronics Design Trainee / Internship – Czech Republic
We have an opportunity for an Engineering Support Intern to join us at Honeywell,
Job Responsibilities:
- Read, understand, and update redlined schematics, layouts, or bill of materials
- Interpret Parts Lists and electrical drawings
- Interface with Work Coordinator for project prioritization and schedules
- Support electronics designers with part/model generation as needed for incorporation into assemblies
- Escalate project status, risks, opportunities, and issues to Team Lead
- Ensure designs of new products are complete, on-time and within budget

Qualifications:
- Candidate ideally in 4th – 5th year at the university, but not mandatory
- Knowledge in circuit schematics, soldering, and PBA production methods

- Knowledge of simulations (AC, DC, Monte Carlo, Worst Case, …)
- Written, verbal and presentation skills that will support your ideas, at least on English level B1

Software Engineer Intern (Bachelor’s) – United States
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide support to existing programs and as skills develops operate more independently on tasks/programs
- Develop requirements and system architecture – perform trade studies
- Design to meet requirements (discipline dependent)
- Test and validate designs – in prototype phase and for formal compliance – on bench, at off-site test facilities, and flight testing with both Honeywell and customer
- Draft respective program artifacts, inclusive of items such as systems requirement document, test procedures and reports, white papers, etc.
- Provide support to devices in production
- Participate in proposals and cost estimation
- Jump in” and support other team members when/where needed
Qualification:
- Currently pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
- Previous work and/or research experience – preferred in engineering and/or aerospace related
- Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident due to export control restrictions and ability to get a US Government Security Clearance
- Aerospace exposure & experience
- Familiarity with electronics and RF disciplines
