Junior Process Engineer
Job Description:
The successful candidate for the Junior Process Engineer position is responsible for and must be able / willing to develop knowledge to:
• Perform engineering under guidance of a senior Process Engineer in all project phases e.g. Feasibility studies, conceptual design, front-end design, detail engineering and design and plant commissioning for projects in the EAME region. Work activities include e.g.:
o Understand and follow Process Design Basis and Process Design Criteria
o Develop the process configuration that best supports the client’s business case
o Further development of the process design and ensure that the required functionality is maintained during the next design and engineering phases
o Generate, calculate, and correlate data to assist higher level engineers/specialists in performing required engineering functions, e.g. hydraulic calculations, heaths and mass balances and equipment sizing
o Towards project completion, the Process Engineers are involved in testing and start-up of the facility; either in a leading role or supporting the client
o Collaboration with other Fluor offices around the world and Construction site visits
Bachelor and/or Master degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering
Candidates shall be fluent in both Dutch and English
