AEROTAP – GE Aviation Aerospace Technical Attainment Program – Singapore
Job Description:
Depending on the assigned rotation, the selected candidate may be assigned some of the responsibilities mentioned below. Upon finalization of the rotation decision, people leader will provide detail of rotation assignment and responsibilities.
Design/develop/substantiate/implement new repairs.
Identify production constraint in cell, understand available capacity and ensure constraint is continuously in production to maximize cell output.
Ensure that all relevant processes comply with quality requirements, conduct investigations and implement corrective actions as required.
Lead cross functional teams in root cause analysis, and error prevention.
Conduct Risk Assessments and ensure that relevant processes are operated in compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety Regulations and Policies.
Conduct training and certification for relevant technicians.
Ensure internal shop documents are kept current with the latest repair documents and flow changes to appropriate personnel.
Support business productivity & cost efficiency drive efforts.
Plan and manage product transition related activities.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to improve equipment utilization and labour efficiency and reduce operating costs through Lean initiatives.
Track or collect data on yield and identify opportunities to improve yield; conduct new material tryouts; review process for improvements.
Any other tasks as assigned by the Company
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related Engineering fields or Material Science
Working experience less than 12 months in related fields

Job Description:
Responsible for all activities related to the mechanical design of pylon, test enabling hardware, and aircraft modification.
Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements
Provide technical leadership to flightline supporting the assigned project
Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments
Participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues
Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Qualifications:

As the Electrical Component Engineer, you will:
Manage hardware through the design process from initial concept through ground and flight testing with a focus on technology and manufacturing readiness.

Job Description:
Responsible for execution of laboratory and field validation testing, inspection and data acquisition for use in the design and validation of products and services.

Job Description:
Support component design and analysis of non-conforming parts of LPT Nozzles and Blades in order to achieve performance and structural requirements, manufacturability and business expectation – cost targets and delivery on time.
Support substantiation of manufacturing notifications in the quality systems
Provide Finite Element Analysis FEM and product definition for needs of the above:
FEM modeling (mesh, BC’s and Loads application) of engine components – Ansys, Hyper Mesh
Perform structural FEM analysis aimed to meet life and dynamic requirements – Ansys, Patran
Post processing of analysis and results interpretation
Results presentation and reporting to Technical Community
Document technical data in reports and dedicated repositories
Stack-Up analysis for specific geometrical features of individual components and/or module integration
Definition of NX geometrical 3D models of LPT components
Qualifications:
Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials or Aerospace Engineering
hands-on experience with engineering FEM analysis and simulations – static, fractures, dynamic (Ansys, HyperMesh, Siesta)
Fundamental knowledge of aviation engines, LPT and components,
knowledge of CAD modelling and drafting (NX software)
