Grid Solutions Graduate Engineer – India, Europe, UK
This role is part of Grid Solutions’ Engineering Graduate Program, an Engineering pipeline scheme aiming at providing fast-tracked opportunities in developing young Engineers’ technical know-how, operational skills and leadership capacities.
As a participant of the program, you will be able to gain comprehensive understanding of the technologies and operations of High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) business. Over a 24-month period with 4 rotations, you will be assigned to different Engineering departments or functions, taking on challenging yet very fulfilling design tasks. The rotation is based on the consolidated review of the business’ needs, your technical background, as well as your personal aspirations. The global footprint of our business also provides possibilities for international exposures.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of power systems, power electronics, high voltage engineering, Matlab/Simulink, AutoCAD or C/C++ Embedded/Real-time development experiences would be an advantage.

Engineer, Gen. IV Plant Systems Integration (Remote Eligible, U.S.)
Engineer, Gen. IV Plant Systems Integration, performs a key role within GE Hitachi’s Gen. IV Plant Systems Integration team, which focus on development of new Gen. IV nuclear reactor projects. You will be responsible for engineering design support within a team environment, working with other disciplines, project/product stakeholders, partner organizations and suppliers to advance plant conceptual and detailed design and successfully deliver a new plants project. You will be part of a large team working on integrating and coordinating multi-discipline activities to support the design of safe and economically superior reactor designs by employing a balance of cutting edge and proven technologies and will be responsible for development and implementation of licensing and technical requirements along with the associated work processes for advanced work in new nuclear plants.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical, nuclear engineering, or related engineering degree from an accredited university or college.

Gen IV Advanced Design & Development Engineer (Remote Eligible, U.S.)
The Engineer works within the Gen IV Advanced Design & Development group of the GE Hitachi Engineering organization. The AD&D team supports the development of advanced nuclear applications through technical leadership on early phase projects and delivering high caliber analysis of complex, first-of-a-kind technologies. AD&D is an interdisciplinary group of problem-solvers with high aptitude and flexibility. The Engineer is an early career position in systems engineering with concentrations in fluid or mechanical systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of science degree in engineering, applied physics, or related field
Minimum internship or cooperative education experience in industry or relevant research
