YouTube is an American online video-sharing platform headquartered in San Bruno, California. Three former PayPal employees—Chad Hurley, Steve Chen, and Jawed Karim—created the service in February 2005. Google bought the site in November 2006 for US$1.65 billion; YouTube now operates as one of Google’s subsidiaries.
UX Designer, YouTube Ads
Responsibilities
Work closely with UX research, Product, and Engineering to understand and define the vision of our products.
Work closely with Sales and Advertisers to understand the evolving video ads industry.
Design complex enterprise applications.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial) or equivalent practical experience.
Work and/or internship experience.
A design portfolio demonstrating interaction and visual design experience.
Preferred qualifications:
Excellent analytical, presentation, project management, and communication skills.
Excellent problem solving, interaction, and visual design skills.
