Job Description:
As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.
Job Responsibilities
Write product or system development code.
Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in C++.
2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
Preferred qualifications:
Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
2 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, and/or experience with compute technologies, storage, and/or hardware architecture.

Associate Red Team Security Consultant, Mandiant, Google Cloud
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct external and internal wireless assessments, web and mobile applications testing, and embedded system assessments.
Develop comprehensive and accurate reports and presentations for both technical and executive audiences.
Perform offensive technical cyber security engagements of a varied nature.
Interface with clients to address concerns, issues, or escalations. Track and drive to closure any issues that impact the engagements and its value to clients.
Collaborate with internal teams to expand capabilities to deliver further value to clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Internship, co-op, or equivalent experience in cybersecurity in one of the following areas: network security, wireless security, web application assessments, social engineering, scripting, cloud security, reverse engineering, pen testing or incident response.
Experience with tools used for wireless, web application, and network security testing.
Preferred qualifications:
Certifications related to offensive security including OSCE, OSEP, OSEE, OSCP, CCSAS, CCT, INF, or relevant SANS courses.
Experience implementing or assessing information security implementation or assessment of security controls.
Excellent written/verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop documentation and explain technical details in a concise manner.

Software Engineer, Kids Account Lifecycle, Early Career, People with Disabilities – Brazil
Job Responsibilities
Execute on assigned technical tasks to make tactical contributions for projects that push forward the Kids Account Lifecycle mission.
Set up or improve test/monitoring/survey infrastructure or processes. Consider code health and system maintainability and scalability over time. Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
Write product or system development code for sub-tasks with some guidance. Conduct testing on code, design code to allow for easy testing, and write test case descriptions. Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.

Qualifications:

Cyber Defense Associate Detection Engineer I, USA
In this role, you will be responsible for enabling the technology and tools required to accomplish daily tasks within a Cyber Defense Center (CDC). You will collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams such as Mandiant Architects, Mandiant Analysts, Client Information Technology (IT) resources, and other business resource owners, to define requirements and deliver recommendations focused on technologies required to support the client’s CDC.
Job Responsibilities:
Identify challenges in customer Cyber Defense Centers and formulate strategies for improvement, plan implementation of improvements, and execute/oversee plans to completion.
Advise on technologies relied upon by the client CDC, Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT), and SOC.
Provide expertise for SIEM and other SOC technologies that assist in incident response.
Create and modify SIEM use cases written in both technology specific query language and Sigma open signature format.
Engage and collaborate with client stakeholders and other groups within customer environment to drive resolution for security issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with networking, including TCP/IP protocols and network topology.
2 years of experience configuring and maintaining SIEM Technologies.
1 year of experience with servers, email alias, email platforms.
