Job Description:
As an IBM Supply Chain Professional, you will be expected to work in one of several different roles, including Demand Planning, Materials Management, Business Operations, Manufacturing Support or Transformation. Your responsibilities can range from ensuring accurate demand planning to support client orders, implementing materials management strategies to optimize cost and inventory, supporting the build and delivery of our products, to interfacing with global contacts to optimize the supply network performance depending upon your role. You will have the opportunity participate in the implementation of advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, or IoT and to lead adoption of new ways of working through Agile and IBM Design Thinking practices. You will have vast opportunities to develop supply chain expertise, technological acumen and leadership skills.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Basic knowledge in supply chain and information systems
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Industrial Engineering, or an MBA, or have equivalent/relevant experience
