Safety is a top priority at Lendlease. Lendlease Singapore is looking for an energetic, creative and analytical Intern to join our regional EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) team to drive a continuous improvement to Lendlease’s safety performance in Asia.
Job Description:
From the 6-month internship, the candidate will:
1) Collaborate with teams in Asia via short term assignments to gain exposure to Lendlease Global Safety Management System and understand why it is considered best in class globally for infrastructure investment, construction sites and operation assets (malls and office buildings)
2) Develop insights to why good frontline safety management, good data analytics and embedding of a strong safety culture are prerequisites for a safe, productive and profitable project outcome
3) Contribute to how Lendlease adapts to different local market conditions and labour force compositions (Malaysia, Japan, China and Singapore) to ensure Lendlease safety standards are met. This will include conducting training and leading communication initiatives for Lendlease staff and contractors in Asia.
Responsibilities:
To work with regional EHS leadership team to:
1) Support improvements in EH&S data analytics to enhance in frontline safety performance
Drive system improvements to report EHS performance in accordance to EH&S agreed metrics (e.g. using tableau dashboards)
2) Support in the development and implementation of health and safety e-learning programs
Support assurance team for safety audits and training
3) Formulate communication strategies and workshops to increase safety awareness in Lendlease
Requirements:
1) Engineering Undergraduate in Singapore
2) An analytical mind with good people skills.
3) Able to commit for 6 months
