Business Analyst
Location: Pune
Job Description:
To provide support to identify, quantify, plan and control business design and analysis related activity to support the high-performance delivery of multiple projects & programmes.
Job Requirement:
• Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of business data, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies to support strategic decision-making processes.
• Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards, presenting key performance indicators (KPIs) to relevant stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
• Data Cleaning and Validation: Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing thorough cleaning, validation, and reconciliation processes.
• Data Modelling: Create and maintain data models to enhance understanding of business processes, forecasting, and scenario planning.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, provide data-driven insights, and support data-driven decision-making across departments.
• Trend Forecasting: Identify trends, forecast future performance, and contribute to the development of business strategies.
• Data Visualisation: Present complex data findings through visualisations, using tools such as charts, graphs, and other visual aids to communicate insights effectively.
• Undertake & leverage data analysis for identification of opportunities and recommending options, and associated costs.
• Business partner collaboration to elicit high-level requirements and capture business needs.
• Support the PM for business case / project charters.
• Business process analysis & improvement
Qualification:
• Minimum Qualification : B.E. / B. Tech or equivalent.
• Demonstrate analytical skills
• Demonstrate ability to manipulate data in MS Excel; proficient with MS Suite of applications
• Demonstrate a desire to learn innovative techniques to analyse data (SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, Splunk etc)
• Awareness of and ability to apply BA techniques and tools (BCS/BABOK/CBAP/ITIL qualified)
Skills:
• Broad IT domain experience and basic understanding of information technology and business concepts
• Familiarity with general business functions
