Surfacing Engineer
Job Requirements:
This role is within the Exterior Surfacing group. As a D grade Surface Engineer, you will be part of a team working alongside experienced surface engineers under the direction of a manager. You will liaise between Design and Engineering as you deliver key exterior components and assemblies on time to surfacing timing schedules adhering to design intent and engineering and manufacturing requirements. You will be expected to have ICEM skills that enable you to produce world class levels in your geometry output, meeting specified quality targets and sharing skills with junior team members whilst benchmarking best in class craftmanship solutions.
Qualification:
You-ll need expert knowledge of surface geometry construction (software other than ICEM Surf considered)
You-ll need proven communication skills
You-ll need passion for Design and eye for detail
You-ll need knowledge of using a PLM system and the authoring and storage of part geometry
You-ll hold a relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
