Commercial Real Estate – Off Balance Sheet (OBS) Screening Analyst – USA
Job Description:
Manage a deal pipeline of potential agency loans across the country.
Review and analyze pertinent deal information, including operating statements, rent roll, budget, and client’s financial statements.
Analyze new loan opportunities including conducting market, and mortgage credit analysis.
Populate and utilize financial models , and identify/mitigate key risks to stakeholders.
Read and analyze regulatory agreements/subsidies and help identify issues, if applicable.
Prepare detailed transaction memos to obtain approval from internal Credit partners and the GSEs.
Review and communicate loan terms of the GSE quotes. Coordinate with Production, internal Credit partners, and the GSEs to refine and resolve any issue with quote.
Develop and maintain capital markets knowledge to ensure clients are receiving competitive products.
Understand GSE pricing parameters and work with CRE pricing desk for quotes.
Qualifications:
A BS/BA degree or higher
Coursework or previous internship or experience in real estate, finance, accounting or economics a plus
Ability to work independently across various levels in the organization.
Ability to work with clients and internal stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and execution skills
Ability to work on various deals/projects simultaneously
