Prospecting Team Member
The Prospecting Team Member (PTM) initiates sales cycle and subsequent productivity and deal flow by eliciting interest in client prospects for L&T TS as part of the New Business Development process.
The PTM collaborates with Presales, Sales, support and Delivery teams to ensure quick turnarounds to begin the client relationship that can potentially bring business to L&T TS.
Reporting to the Pre-Sales Head, the PTM reports on a dotted line to the sales manager or business line manager responsible for the regional sales team supported.
Skills Works with Sales Head to identify Prospect Master List based on organizational criterion.
Works with relevant Delivery teams and Marketing to get updated triage documents and elevator pitch to introduce L&T TS and its offerings to prospects.
Scouts reliable means of identifying prospect contacts in names prospect companies.
Works closely with all stakeholders to position L&T TS for a named prospect.
Attends to prospect contact methods that include direct calling, email campaigns and mailers.
Secures prospect interest by providing relevant case studies and of offerings.
Secures prospect meeting and introduces Sales contact for further dealings.
Supports the sales organization in transitioning the contact and requirement.
Keeps track of all interactions and contact information and provides weekly and periodic updates on progress to Reporting Manager.
Maintains prospect information throughout and after the prospecting process.
Aids in achieving growth targets for the assigned geography.
Maintains high internal customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.
Tracks on a weekly basis the prospects interactions and report to the Sales Head.
