This position is for an IT Service Operations role on the Operations Excellence team within Office Engineering. The charter of this team is to ensure service health through operational excellence for the Office Engineering services. Job Description:
Provide incident and problem management and proactively identify the shortcomings and provide solutions for sustained and predictable delivery of operational tasks using, but not limited to, Microsoft (SCCM)
Identify and escalate issues to relevant teams with thorough follow-up to issue resolution
Use technical expertise in Windows, SCCM, SQL, WMI, PowerShell, etc. to automate manual tasks.
Troubleshoot failures, identify problems, and recommend solutions to improve operational service efficiency and stability.
Drive building, implementing, and improving processes related with day-to-day operational activities.
Create technical and operational documentation of day to day processes to create operational run books for the team.
Monitor and remediate active software updates and antimalware definitions to meet corporate compliance SLAs
Create custom SQL queries and PowerShell scripts as required to support data requests and other operational activities.
Qualifications:
Two-year degree and 3+ years in a related field or 4+ years of experience in an enterprise systems management administrator role
2+ Years of administrative experience with System Center (Microsoft Endpoint) products specifically SCCM
In-depth knowledge and troubleshooting experience with Windows operating systems
Ability to manage a dynamic operational workload
Excellent communication and cross-discipline collaboration skills
Ability to lead operational projects through the entire Project lifecycle
